How do I add penalties on CONNEX?

It’s best to add a penalty after you finish the hole.

To mark a shot as a lost ball:

1. Select the shot by tapping on the shot label.
2. Open ‘More Options’ by tapping the three dots at the bottom right of the screen. Tap ‘Lost Ball’ at the bottom of the page and then "Confirm".
3. Tap and hold the lost shot label and move this to the location of the lost ball. Release once done.

Your Lost ball has now been added. This will automatically add a stroke and distance penalty.

Please remember that you do not need to scan again in the same position after a lost ball as the additional shot will be added when you add a penalty. If you used a different club for the next shot the club can be easily edited.

To mark a shot that resulted in a drop ball penalty

1. Select the shot by tapping on the shot label.
2. Open ‘More Options’ by tapping the three dots at the bottom right of the screen. Tap ‘Drop Ball’ at the bottom of the page and then "Confirm".
3. Tap and hold the Drop shot label and move this to the location of the drop. Release once done.

Your drop ball has now been added. This will automatically add a stroke penalty.
