How to Set Up Your Shot Scope Tags
Your Shot Scope device comes with 16 tracking tags designed to automatically record your shots. Properly setting up your tags ensures accurate performance tracking and a seamless playing experience.
Installing the Tags
Each tag should be screwed into the end of your club grip. Follow these steps:
- Match the tag to your club – Tags are labelled with initials (e.g. ‘D’ for Driver, ‘7i’ for 7 Iron). While it’s best to match the labels to the actual club, the most important thing is that each tag corresponds correctly with your My Bag setup in the Shot Scope app.
- Insert the tag – Align the tag with the hole in the grip.
- Screw it in – Rotate the tag clockwise while applying slight downward pressure until it is securely in place.
Important Tips
- Make sure each tag is firmly secured to avoid it becoming loose during play.
- Double-check that each club in the My Bag section of the app matches the tag installed.
- If you accidentally assign the wrong tag, you can edit your My Bag setup in the app to correct it.
Counterbalance Grips
If your club has a counterbalance grip or a weight in the butt of the shaft, the tag may not fit properly. In this case, you may need to use an alternative installation method or refer to our guide for counterbalance putters.
